Building Youth Access to Education and Economic Opportunities

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.

Multiple factors beyond economic needs impact our ability to attract, develop, and retain next-generation talent. We must work together to create work and community cultures that meet the needs and expectations of our youth and young adults. It's important for all partners in these efforts - employers, students, educators, and community organizations - to consider where their expectations and efforts align. Together, we can prepare future generations to fully leverage education and economic opportunities and actively participate in building and growing strong and welcoming communities.

At the end of this session attendees will:
  • Understand the current education and economic opportunities available to our youth and how they will continue to evolve for future generations.
  • Consider their role in developing and implementing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging strategies to support current and future employees.
  • Identify best approaches for providing future generations with expanded access to education and economic opportunities.
